I worked with Beau Monde Media for two years, across two of its magazines Beau Monde Traveler and Ski Luxe Magazine.

I started first as an intern for Ski Luxe Magazine, before working as Assistant Editor of the magazine for 18 months. During this time, I trained interns, drafted up and coordinated the magazine's first print edition and wrote many articles for the print and online publication.

Below, there is a small sample of the articles I wrote for the travel publication.

Ristorante Don Camillo: the Sicilian Seafood Spectacle

After visiting the ancient landmarks and cerulean swim-spots of Ortega Island, you may wonder what is left to experience when on holiday in Syracuse, Sicily. Walking along the shores of the turquoise-coloured ocean, the scent of sea salt lingers in the air. You will undoubtedly be enticed into diving into Syracuse’s local seafood. The place you’ll want to go to satiate this appetizing temptation is the Michelin star Ristorante Don Camillo.

A Stay in Scotland's 5-Star Retreat, Yvonne Corbett's Turin Castle

There is something magical about being able to enjoy the luxury of a 5-star hotel as if it were your own home. Surrounded in lavish décor, being treated like royalty while relaxed enough to sit back in an armchair, feet up, with a morning paper without a worry in the world. This is exactly what you’ll find in Scotland’s Turin Castle. To find out more about the experience, Beau Monde Traveler interviewed the castle’s leading lady, Yvonne Corbett.

Eddie The Eagle: A British Olympian and Ski Icon

Many look at Olympic athletes and feel that they could never be like them. However, Michael Edwards, ‘Eddie the Eagle’ proved this wrong. Despite breaking many bones, including fracturing his skull twice, and self-funding his entire training, Eddie’s ability to overcome challenges, his relentless motivation and ceaseless spirit saw

The Alpina Gstaad: a Hotel or a 5-Star Alpine Masterpiece?

In Gstaad, there is a place that breathes and echoes relaxation, peace and tranquillity. A place that whispers sophistication and chic, and wears its 5 stars with pride and class. With its authentic wooden balconies, dark, modern roof tiles, this building is a stylish resort but has evolved from a cosy chalet. Beautiful gardens, and a spa-worthy, modern decked swimming pool with luxurious white sunbeds and towels are the final touch to this masterpiece. This masterpiece called The Alpina hotel i

One woman: endless sports, endless adventures. From reaching the South Pole, to crossing the Artic, to hiking in the mountains, and travelling the globe, there are few adventurers quite like Claudia Beitsch. Her impressive drive for adventure and travel has made her a renown influencer and blogger, and a participant of the 2010 Race to the South Pole. She follows only one rule in her career – ‘never stop exploring’. Claudia has always loved exploring the mountains, and from a young age would enj

Nicky Dobree: Leading Home Designer, and Ski Enthusiast

Tucked away in the beautiful mountains of Les Gets stands an elegant chalet, worthy of a James Bond film and 007 himself. Once an aging farmhouse, this sophisticated, cosy chalet allows you to tiptoe into nature along its decking, which surrounds a modern infinity-pool, a jacuzzi and a warming fire pit. On the one hand, enveloped in comfort, yet immersed in nature with birds singing and where beautiful conifers are often decked in snow and the sun sets across the valley on rugged peaks. This is
